Dr Supramaniam is the Managing Director of Bonric Sdn Bhd, an entity that specialises in the manufacture of Cleanroom rubber gloves suitable for use in ISO 4 , 5 and 6 working environments. He is the global pioneer of the cleanroom gloves manufacturing industry and has been at it for the past 32 years. Additionally, he is the founder of B2B Rubber Industries, an entity that specialises in reclaim technologies: using rubber waste and used gloves and converting it into reclaim rubber that is used for product manufacture.
He is also the founder-owner of Nova Glove Consultancy Sdn Bhd, that provides consultancy services in regards to setting up glove manufacturing facilities, globally. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK and the President of Malaysian Rubber Gloves Manufacturers Association ( MARGMA). He is also the Chairman of R&D -Commercialisation, Global Fund for Rubber Innovation and ISO TC 45 SC 4. He sits on the Board of Malaysian Rubber Board, Malaysian Rubber Council and TARRC (UK). He is the glove expert to Asean Rubber Based Products, EU CEN TC 205 and Malaysian Nanomaterials Industrial Group.
In Malaysia and at ANRPC, he heads the Task Force specifically set up to encourage greater usage of natural rubber, in gloves manufacture. His forte on Research is in the areas of nano materials ( graphene, single wall carbon nanotubes , green silica, anti viral additives ) in enhancing the property and characteristics of gloves.
